Tom Fenton 1,541 Posted September 21, 2008 First you remove the gaiter, two screws at the back of the centre console. Then from memory I think the centre console also has to come out, screw down through the floor, and two small nuts under the radio. Once this is out there is a retaining plate held down by about 6 nuts, undo these to get to the gear lever pivot. Once you do this it becomes obvious how to get it out. I can't remember the exact detail from that point on, but as I say, its obvious once you get it to bits enough to see. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Baz 421 Posted September 21, 2008 You can change the bushes without doing that. It's a 13 nut on a 17mm bolt the bushes are retianed by, make sure you put the spring washer back in also though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
