Rebuilding Callipers – Any Tips?

I have been slowly striping a set of standard 1.9 callipers, they are now completely stripped – bleed nipples okay and out (now), pistons out etc.

 

Are there any specific tips on rebuilding it all before I start? I have not touched callipers before.

 

Which grease do I use where?

 

I have a Bigg Red rebuild kit as well as the Peugeot kit including new clips and so forth.

clean up the pots and cylinders and sliders with some 600 grit wet and dry. the piston seals only go in one way, put the high edge of the rubber on the inside. make sure the thin groove on the caliper body is totally clear of dirt and corrosion before refitting the bellows ensuring a nice seal.I use a general purpose high temp grease for the sliders etc . i find this is always there when i go back to the calipers after a few years . Copper grease seems to dry out very quickly.
