4 J93 Which Engine Do I Have

ive looked in the search bar and nothing comes up with this.

it says 4 j93, which engine is this.

if anyone can help will be much appreciated.

its an mi16, i think it might be the iron block.

its not a recognised code, where on the engine does it say this?

 

can you get a picture?

 

iron blocks are easy to tell, big black plastic intake, and a black rusty block.

 

alloy block would be silver/grey in colour with an alloy intake manifold, and a distributor on the end of the inlet cam.

Another easy way to tell if its an iron or alloy block if the inlet manifold doesn't give it away is try putting a magnet against the block.

 

If it holds it iron, if it doesn't its alloy.

 

If you think its an Mi16 with an iron block its 1998cc.

yes it has the black intake and a really rusty block.

so must be the 1998cc.

are the cam covers silver with a black plastic coilpack cover or black with a metal finned coilpack cover?
