mogsman 2 Posted September 16, 2008 Hi all, when I change my calipers to 1.9's can I use a hose clamp on my braided hoses and would I have to bleed the whole system after? Ian
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted September 16, 2008 If you are quick when you swap the calipers you shouldn't need a hose cl;amp & they aren't ideal for use on braided hoses as they can damage the braid so best not used uimo. You will have to bleed each caliper that you change but the parts of the system you don't disturb should be OK as long as the master cylinder doesn't get emptied. Although tbh if you don't know how long the fluid has been in its just as easy to do a full fluid change & bleed the whole system imo. Graham.
mogsman 2 Posted September 16, 2008 Thanks Graham, I'll just change them over quickly. Might change the fluid any way. Ian
