Ran Below Min Oil For A Week Or So

Well ive ran my 1.9 8v below min oil for a week or so (not on purpose), topped it up today, the car has always been quite tappety, just wondering could it of done any real lasting damage ? or is it somthing not to worry about to much.

I don't think you'll have done any significant damage unless you suffered oil starvation as a result of the low level. But if that happened you'll probably have noticed the gauge fluctuating or the warning light coming on.

no it will be fine, in fact i have seen 205s run with oil not even regsitering on the stick be fine for ages

seriously though ive unintentionally ran low on several of mine with no lasting damage - just dont do it on a 16v!
