Ignition Barrel

hi

 

im currently stripping my 205 and am struggling to get the ignition barrel out of the column. Ive taken the bolt out and tried pushing the pins in from underneith.

 

am i missing something?

You need to put the key in the lock, then turn it to the first position, then the pin will push in. Should just slide out then

Sometimes it's first position, sometimes it's half way between first and second. There should be a mark on the barrel - line the key up with the mark and then you should be able to push the pin in.
