pete1986 2 Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) A while ago someone mentioned using a Citroen XM throttle body on an Mi16. Apparantly its bigger and you get about 25% more air. Has anyone else ever done this? Although im learning bits and pieces about engines and mechanics, this is something im not sure about. Would this not mess up the air/fuel ratio. Infact, having said that, i suppose the AFM would pick up the increase and adjust accordingly. I don't know. Im sure you can all explain it to me... XM TB... good idea or bad?? edit - Before anyone asks, sadly, i dont know which xm engine the TB is from Edited September 8, 2008 by pete1986
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted September 8, 2008 It isa VW VR6 throttle body people tend to add. From what I have seen on an XU10J2TE, the throttle body is only 50mm wide where an XU9JA one is 57mm wide.
