pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted September 5, 2008 Does your interior fan work OK? Check the scuttle panel has the cover which goes over the heater fan box intake under the screen. See this topic or more info. When these are missing rain can run straight into the heater assembly from the scuttkle panel area & eventually leak trough into the passenger footwell. Other possibilities are a leaking door seal, windscreen seal or heater matrix. Best check you coolant level but the matrix usually leaks into the drivers footwell. http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...l=scuttle+panel Graham. Rock Lobster 28 Posted September 5, 2008 had a similar problem on my old focus, a load of water in my passenger footwells, front and rear, it turned out to be a leaking windscreen on the top two corners, so i got some loctite clear silicone sealent and job done! Didn't get rid of the smell though!
dave_gti 0 Posted September 5, 2008 I was reading through all the history i had with my 205. and in the early nineties it developed a leak and was in and out of Peugeot, theyd replaced the windscreen seals, and all sorts, and it turned out they fixed it by removing and resealing the wing. . Thats my rant over, it made a good read when i was going through all the papers, was almost like a story book.
