driversdomainuk 8 Posted September 3, 2008 Hi, I am trying to get some head bolts for my Mi16 engine. The current ones are 175mm in length with screw thread intermitted through the shaft. I have been delivered some 110 x M12 ones and the factors say these are the normal ones… What are the normal spec for head bolts and why are mine like this and who is right..? Thanks
welshpug 1,657 Posted September 3, 2008 I take it you have an alloy block Mi16 not iron.

welshpug 1,657 Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) I think that be the problem, Alloy blocks use M11 IIRC. Edit, yep! 0204 57 CYL HEAD BOLT M11 X 1.50 - 175mm sounds like you have been supplied a set of 0204 A0 Edited September 3, 2008 by welshpug

welshpug 1,657 Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) Peugeot/citroen edit, also same bolt as the 8v alloy block. Edited September 3, 2008 by welshpug
Ryan 99 Posted September 3, 2008 With motor factors I've generally found it best to ask for parts for a Citroen BX 16V instead of the Mi16. They never used the 2.0 in the BX, so there's nothing for them to get confused with.
