chrisj21 2 Posted September 2, 2008 I think the lead on my dizzy is about dead, i took it off today to check it and it has been previously bodged and soldered in the middle. when i removed the tape around it there is three wires inside but only two attached to the dizzy end plug? is that right? should there be three wires at one end and two at the other? DamirGTI 344 Posted September 2, 2008 Yes theres 3 of them inside the cable - red wire , black and one without insulation ... the later one is just a shielding wire , it's connected on the yellow three pin plug but not on to the dizzy side .
