Any tried some or got pics? http://www.performancewheels.com.au/superlite.asp

steve@cornwall 100 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) I've been keeping an eye out for some of these...... 108 pcd With a polished rim I reckon they'd be on a 205 Edited September 2, 2008 by steve@cornwall
hengti 2 Posted September 2, 2008 never seen minilights on a 205 but they're both an 8-spoke design (re. 1.9 Speedlines), so might not look completely out of place, on? be interesting to see, anyway
kate205gti 4 Posted September 2, 2008 look better in 12" tbh - see if you can get them to fit
Baz 421 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) I've seen a couple of 205s with minilites (correct spelling not that you can get them anymore though! ) on, competiton cars, looks ok, not amazing though, doesn't really suit IMO. Edp 67 3 Cars Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) A mate has those on his mark 2 escort they look mustard. Don't think they would look too hot on a 205 but its down to personal preference. Whatever butters your parsnips and all that! Edited September 2, 2008 by Edp

gti_al 1 Posted September 3, 2008 i'm at work so can't see the picture. Just got a quote though… A$185 for 14*6, or $195 for 15*7. I would prefer 14*7, but they don’t do that. I wonder if 15s would look too big though. They really need to be small and as dished as possible. That is really cheap though What do we think? I should be able to sell my 15s for more than that. These are the ones http://www.performancewheels.com.au/superlite.asp#
gti_al 1 Posted September 3, 2008 (edited) kate205gti said: look better in 12" tbh - see if you can get them to fit :) Just got home and had a look at the pics... what i really want are the 13x10s, but that is a bit stupid. I am looking at these to get something a bit wider on. Choices in pug fitment here are limited, and spacers aren't legal, so these seem like the sensible option. I really want sl434s, but it just isn't going to happen. I think with the 1.9 front hubs, and 1.6 beam it just looks too narrow now. What size and offset should i look at to get it looking a bit tougher? Thinking 15x7 et 12ish? Would 8J be a bit extreme?
