mercury 0 Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, does anyone have a pic of the early 1.9 wire or 1.6 wire that connects to the dizzy (i believe they are the same), so i can look at if there is an eyelet or 3rd wire that connects to the dizzy. Ive recently fixed my wire but dont know what to do with this braided wire around it... when i took it off it was just hanging on the side. Someone suggested that it could have had an eyelet that connected to the dizzy somehow? Anyone got any ideas? Cheers, Merc Edited September 1, 2008 by mercury

mercury 0 Posted September 1, 2008 its a shield wire which only needs to be connected at one end, which it is if its plugged in so it will be connected once i connect the whole blastic bit tot he dizzy? Or do i have to connect it to somewhere? Can i trim it so that it doesnt hang out? Cheers, Merc
welshpug 1,657 Posted September 1, 2008 no, it'll be connected when you plug the 3 pin connector in at the other end. I would either tape it up with insulation tape or shrink-wrap it if possible.

Cameron 16 Posted September 1, 2008 I'd just cut it off, it's not doing anything at that end.
