Deep Dish Alloy

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've been reading the older topics and I haven't found any definate answers so i hope you don't mind me starting this post.

I'm looking to change my wheels at some point and I really like the dish look.I want to keep to the 15" height. First of all..how wide a wheel can i fit without arch work? 7.5" with a push prehaps? I know people have had problems with 8" and 7" seems to be okay. The car isn't lowered yet if this makes a diffrence?

Secondly if anyone could give me a few ideas or prehaps names of certain alloys then that'd be great. (They will be on a mayfair gold/beige colour car)

Thanks!

Regarding the wheels...i think i'm quite limited as to what I can use. I have seen some nice Borbet Type A wheels but they are 16" tall and 7.5" wide. I don't know the offset but I guess they wont be pug fitment? I also quite like the look of those fondmetal 4000s but cannot find anywhere they sells them from new. Can anyone give some advice please?

I don't want to have to do any arch work..and if I do then i'd like it to be minimal, thanks

Borbet A's are very rare in pug fitment. mostly done for the VW cars and such. if your looking at deep dish i wouldnt go much wider than 7.5 at a push but it depends how wide you want your tyres

if you go with 8 wide and have a "stretch" tyre on you could pull it off just but probably best sticking with 7.5 unless you have the chance to borrow an 8 wide with various tyre widths to test so to speak
