Over the last week my 205 8v 1.9 has drank the last £40 of super i put in it.

the car has always has a dead spot when going from 1st to 2nd , and also when held at a certain speed in a low gear the car kangaroos slightly, now i think these 2 problems may have got a little worse also over the last week or so.

would i be right in thinking that my airflow meter could be on its last legs , or anybody have any better ideas ?

How bad is the economy?

Usual suspects are - ECU temp sensor, AFM, TPS, ignition timing, driving style(!)

Search should bring up plenty of info, but trying a known good AFM and sticking on a new ECU temp sensor should fix the issue if it was fine previously and you've not changed anything

driving style has not changed, im getting about 15/20mpg , no fuel leaks, and never smells of fuel, , yea its only just started, not sure if i can locate a good afm, but how much are the ecu temp sensors.
