Hello Mark, how goes it?

What's up with your old one mate, dont' think theres much can go wrong on them?!

If you are going for a new one, get a two port MBC (or Dawes type) with a ceramic ball and spring mechanism.

This will atleast give you some boost control.

Sam.

Well seeing as you've had problems before mate I would say spend the extra wedge and get a pukka one, like in the link above.:D

Its a bit of a trade off really, yes you get to run more boost so more power, but you will lose the ECU controlled boost you already have.

It is the reason I took mine off as the boost would come on quite viciously with the MBC equally plenty of wheelspin!

Your other option if you want more boost (apart from stand alone management) is to fit an apexi electronic boost controller or similar, but then your talking £300+ compared to £40 for the dawes device.

Thanks Sam,

i like a drivers car. So i think ill leave the MBC for the tyre tearing nutters for now. Flamin thing spins enough as it is!!

Headling, good luck with it. let us know how it goes once its on?
