steve@cornwall 100 Posted August 27, 2008 Thats amazing, keep them Somewhere you will prob. find a 5 outlet compressor - I'll bet those used to be dukes of hazzard style musical horns. Legal on pre- 74 cars only (IIRC) and a reminder of my youth http://www.airhorns.co.uk/product.asp?u=JI...87&xdid=
platty 1 Posted August 28, 2008 Thats what I was thinking, Dukes of Hazard, was thinking about hooking them back up to p!ss off the neighbours at 3 in the morning
VisaGTi16v 1 Posted August 28, 2008 Thats a weird thing with the Visa GTi, everything else is the same as the 1.6 205 up front except it comes with big double air horns, about 6" long and the compressor part itself is about 4"?!? Can only presume it needed extra horn power as no one expected a Visa to be going that quick back then so didnt automatically get out of the way like they would have had it been a 205 in their mirrors PS: Got a few sets if anyone wants some cheap heh
24seven 104 Posted August 28, 2008 (edited) I definitely don't have a dixie horn under the bonnet of my 306. Edited August 28, 2008 by 24Seven
platty 1 Posted August 28, 2008 If I leave mine on, come MOT day the car will be laughed off the ramp! The investigation is getting better, I've just found a sparkplug welded into the Exhaust, I reckon the car was a Chav Chariot at one point in its life! GLPoomobile 958 Posted August 28, 2008 Sounds like a real beauty! If you look at the members cars on the main web site, there's a foreign 205 (no idea if that member is still on here) that has about 20 air horns over the top of the engine. That one's a minging chav mobile too.
