Expansion Tank Cap - Opening Pressure

Does anyone know what pressure the standard 1.9 expansion cap opens at? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking of fitting a Bailey header tank and the cap lifts at between 1.2 - 1.5 bar, I don't know how much higher than standard this is and if it will put too much pressure on some of the cooling system components e.g. heater matrix etc?

Does anyone else run one of these tanks and have they had any problems?

Look in the Haynes manual - cooling system section.

 

I would look it up for you, but didn't bring mine with me to Helmand Province.

Cheers, looked in the manual it says 1 bar on the standard system. I don't think 0.2 bar increase will cause any problems so I'll go ahead with the new tank.
