Waxoyl Professional 120-4 Cavity Protection

Recommended Posts

Has anyone applied WAXOYL Professional 120-4 Cavity Protection on thier car? There is a company called rustmaster.co.uk that apply this to the underside. Just wondered if it's worth doing but what about rust that's already under there, would it neutralise it?

Also, if Paintguy is still around, I need a quote for my inner wing welding, filling and painting so if you could leave or PM your contact details I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Dan

This isnt going to answer your question but I did spray on a couple of coats of Dinitrol to the underside and cavities of my old show car,as it was at least ten Years ago that I did it the rust wasnt that bad, from memmory the worst looking place seemed to be the underside of the boot floor which appeared to have been completley missed by the factory stone chip,I think it very worthwhile trying to stop/protect against any rust,if I were to do it again I'd probably treat any visible rust with a rust killer and than prime (someting like Jelonite Double Act or Bonda anti-rust primer with Zinc or even just red oxide from Wicks) THEN use your waxoyl,if it might seem a bit of aggro, but its rust that kills cars you can always get mechanical parts.

It would be worth taking off the inside trim panels were the front seatbelts go into the rear quaters and getting some rust killer in there as I've seen a few 205's secumb to rust there, you could go mad and also do the bottoms of the doors.

Hope this helps.
