DrSarty 90 1 Cars Posted August 24, 2008 I've trawled the on-line parts catalogue to no avail. Can anyone help find the part number for the Mi16 inlet manifold union/connector which plumbs into the servo hose please?
DrSarty 90 1 Cars Posted August 24, 2008 Another option, is can one of you lovely people supply me with one off an Mi16 manifold that they don't need? Well - worth a try.
DrSarty 90 1 Cars Posted August 24, 2008 Alright everyone, alright!!! Calm the f*ck down with all the replies eh! Problem solved in typical forum 'look mum I can bodge stuff' fashion. A compressor airline end fitting (male) is perfect for this job, and has been duly tapped in to my number 4 runner on my equally bodged manifold. Just stop with all the replies for crying out loud! DrSarty 90 1 Cars Posted August 26, 2008 Did you find that part number ? I would like to change that hose as well ! Yay, a friend; and perhaps a military fella too? No - I didn't find the part number because no f&^ker would chat to me. ....... Anyway, you say 'hose', but I wanted the metal insert/screw in union that goes into the Mi manifold to take the vacuum/servo hose off of. I've sorted my problem with a male air line connector, which is threaded and perfect. If you want to replace the hose, just buy this hose from a motor factor. It's labelled as servo hose as it is braided and doesn't compress under vacuum, which is good. Should be about £10 for 1-1.5M. Don't buy it from a Pug main dealer though as you'll need to sell a kidney to pay for it.
