MrG 3 Posted August 23, 2008 I need a new 1.9 as mine ate something and destroyed itself on the RR. Member on here has a rebuilt unit recently done, looks OK in the pics and is all std. However on ebay there's the 1.9 with LAD head etc thats done 2 events since its rebuild, it's a high spec. I'll be using the car for trackday only & this one shows superb oil pressure to. So both are similar figures but the LAD one has the baffled sump and all pipework etc, where as the other is the engine incl exh manifold (but more or less brand new) I was running 45's before and will be again and will have a baffled sump prior to fitting it all back in.. So what do others think? I like the idea of the std fresh engine but the ebay one has me intrigued. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
oli-pug 6 2 Cars Posted August 23, 2008 Both seem to be genuine, in fact i'm pretty sure the seller of the ebay 8v is on here as well. Can't remember his username though sorry!
