jaked 1 Posted August 22, 2008 (edited) Hi all, I've been on the forum a while, but don't usually post because I usually find solutions to any problems I have by searching through the posts etc. But this isn't really a case of searching. I have some Spax front springs/dampers and rear dampers i'm really keen to fit to my 205 xs. I've read the guide on how to lower the rear, and although it looks do-able, i'm rather lacking the space and tools to do it. I'm always keen to get stuck in and dirty by doing things myself, but I think this might be a bit much and as I need my car on a daily basis, I don't want to balls it up. I've recently moved to the Leeds area (between Garforth and Selby), and do not really know much about, or anyone in the area. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that might be able to assist me in my quest for a slightly lower 205. I'd love to meet some fellow 205 nuts, so if anyone fancies a challenge, I'm quite happy to pay for your time, either monetary or beer etc. On a similar note, if there is anyone that is undertaking any sort of work and needs an extra pair of hands to pass tools/make tea I'm always looking to increase my motoring/mechanical knowledge so would be happy to help. Having recently moved to a new flat, I don't have internet or anything yet, but if anyone needs a hand at any time, or is willing to help me out with my suspension my mobile is ***** ******. Alternatively, if I can't get any help, could I get some suggestions of somewhere I can get my beam done proffessionally? Welcome oop north Im live quite near Garforth (Rothwell), and while I am no mechanic, I am sure that between me and you and this forum we can most stuff sorted. I get one or two days of a week and I don't mind lending a hand one morning or afternoon.
