70a Alternator In Place Of 50a Oone?

I currently have a 50A Valeo alternator fitted to my 1990 CTi, does anyone know if I can just bolt on a 70A one from a GTi??

The reason for asking is because I can get hold of a 2nd hand 70A GTi one but can't find a 50A one.

As far as im aware this wont be a problem.
