Picture Of Inlet Manifold Please

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I Really need a decent Pic of the pipework running into the inlet manifold on a 'XUD' engine with a Front Mount Intercooler.

I have scoured the internet with no success, and really want to get it clear in my minds eye whats involved.

It doesnt have to Peugeot specifically as the Rover 200/400 series used the same engine, but any pics will do.

Jimi. :)

Sorry can I bump this.

Any pic of the inlet manifold with pipework attached on an 'XU' will do.

Thank you Jimi :)

Thanks for that Welshpug :)

Now what I need to know is how would the pipework from a Front mounted intercooler attach to that oval shaped hole while still being effective, can the inlet manifold be manipulated to take 2.25" pipework or would it need some form of connector?

Jimi :D

Or opt for the easy route, and get an inlet manifold from a car that already has a front mounted intercooler, such as a Xantia. You then get a nice round easy to attach hoses to hole.

you'd need an adapter, there's a few about, I know a member on club-306.com makes them.

or as Tom mentioned, get hold of a suitable manifold
