andymi16 0 Posted August 16, 2008 Hi, Desperatly trying to get the mi sorted for track day next week! Just done conversion, she starts and idles fairly ok(bit high). luggy 13 Posted August 16, 2008 Had a similar issue with my conversion, same with the idle, it was firing on 2 cylinders, even though all spark plugs when removed were sparking. Changed the plugs sorted the problem out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Best do a compression test and see what results you get, it seems that the headgasket is possibly leaking Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
timb1046 1 Posted August 18, 2008 if its been sat for a long time then it could just be condensation thats built up in the exhaust etc. depends how much there is though. mine does it if its been sat for a while but only for a bit after start up. but if it does it every time then it does sound like your head may not be sealed properly.
