Hello,

There is a sensor just behind the dist. It gives info about the cold start.

I am looking in the Haynes manual diagrams. I cant find it there.

Can it be called temperature sender injection unit. Unit 5 in page 201

Looking at your pictures above (top one worked as thumbnail if you click on it to get full size image) they are;

  • 1; Vacuum advance capsule.
  • 2. Exhaust manifold (obviously).
  • 3; SAD (supplimentary air devide.).
  • 4; connector to SAD.
  • 5; Water temp sender (either high temp warning lght or guage indication).
  • 6; Coolant temp sender for ecu (the one I suspect you are looking for).
  • 7; Water temp sender (either high temp warning lght or guage indication).
  • 8; Oil temp sender.

Graham.
