Engine Start Problem

Recommended Posts

RINRIN

Hello,

This problem occured two or three times. B)

In the evening I getin to my car (the last ride was yesterday) and turned the key, engine is cranking but not starting, I tried five or six times with five to ten seconds of cranking but did not start.

I feel that the batteries start to lose power andto save the batteries I jump start the car and in the first try engine starts to run in 1 second:)

I thought it can be CTN sensor just behind the dist, or can be batteries. I have alarm.

But,

If the problem is CTN sensor why it starts immediately with jump start. So CTN is OK

I have a battery analyser and I check my batteries and charing system and the result is OK for both.

Please comment on this with your unlimited experience

I love my pug and I feel sad when he has this kind of problems

Thanks

Arin

Have a look around at your connectors, battery, starter motor etc make sure they are clean and secure as a starting point.

mine has done this a few times and i'm still stumped as to what it is but im pretty sure that it wont be your battery. i thought it was the battery on mine also, as when i jumped the car after the battery eventualy couldnt crank the engine any more it started fine. but then after a drive to let the battery charge up its was all fine starting off the battery.

my engine was cranking over at a decent speed. but if yours sounds like its cranking over slower than normal then i'd say battery.

Hi,

Mine cranks at normal speed but the engine not fires. After some attemps I jump start the car because I dant want to kill tha battery. This weekend I will go to repair, but I dont know what to say the guy to do. Cause I am sure he cant find anything.

I brought my car to repair and they cleasned the dist. It was full of oil. They also check the CTS and it is OK they say.

I hope the fault is gone. We will see next morning:)
