I bought a new chromw trim for my Gentry last year and tried to do it recently and couldnt, so i left it until i was in a clamer mood :)

That was last night and i still cant see how to do it.

Could someone write an idiots proof guide to doing it please?

off the top of my head the front/rear bumper trim is pushed on with some white clip things, they just push into place but if you push too hard (like i did) you end up with dented trim.

First off, slide the little mounting T-Pieces into the chrome strip (space them out in the formation of the holes in the bumper), offer the strip up to the bumper and press the strip where you have the T-pieces - as Damien said above, really easy to dent the strip so push gently.

Thankyou Captain thats perfect.

My 'T' pieces were still in the bumper , once out and slid into the new chrome strip it was simple.

Cheers
