wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted August 11, 2008 I need some 5-10mm wheel spacers for my hillclimb 205, i now have some revolution wheels that dont clear the front calipers so need to space them out slightly but they need to be hubcentric or whatever you call it so that the wheel is centred when bolted on!! can anyone recommend where to get a pair from?! welshpug 1,657 Posted August 11, 2008 Rippthrough/PhillipM can do custom spacers, they can only be hubcentric over a certain width depending on how deep the lip on the hub is (minimum of around 13mm usually)
wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted August 11, 2008 yeh i just realised that by looking around the internet, i think this will be the best way thou because i need them as thin as possible but have to be hubcentric how can i contact them/him?! how can you centre the wheel with non centric spacers, i have a set of 10mm ones that fit to teh 205 hubs and sit fluch with the lip on the hub but then my new wheels just float all over and obviously have nothing to centre this, how do you get around this!??! wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted August 11, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3MM-UNIVERSAL-ALLOY-...tem140256794637 these might even do along with a slight shave off the outside of the caliper, but would these leave enough of a lip on the hub to centre the wheel?!?!? welshpug 1,657 Posted August 11, 2008 either by fitting thinner non-hubcentric spacers or wider ones that are hubcentric. a stud conversion makes it a lot easier to fit wheels, a good idea to fit the longer of the 2 lengths available so you can fit wheels with spacers as well as the std wheels. Pm'd I can machine the larger set down for you if need be too, but I'll need to know the material (steel/alloy) and whether they were billet or cast. I'm glad Welsh isn't on commission P.S. - May be a little slow replying for the next few days as I have a relative in hospital due to a heart attack, apologies if so.
