wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted August 11, 2008 Does anyone know if a 309 Diesel Driveshaft is the same as a 309 GTi shaft?! In particular the right hand side and even more just the outer shaft
wardy18 33 1 Cars Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) This is what the Peugeot service box says: 3273 H9 01 DRIVE-SHAFT NEW RIGHT TAG 8HN04 8HN79 (8HN04) - XU51C 01 RIGHT - XU52C 01 RIGHT - XU5M 01 RIGHT - XU5J1 01 RIGHT - XU5JA 01 RIGHT - XU9M 01 RIGHT - XU9J1 01 RIGHT - XU92C 01 RIGHT - XUD7 01 RIGHT - XUD7T EXCEPT WITH ABS BRAKES 01 RIGHT - XUD9 So from what i can see is covers the XU9 which is the GTI and the XUD which is the Diesel which means this same part number (3273 H9) covers both engines?! have i enterpreted this right?! I think the above is for cars with ABS though, service box is quite hard to understand Edited August 11, 2008 by wardy18

pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted August 12, 2008 They will fit exactly the same, whether they are the same from new I wouldn't like to say but I used some 309 diesel shafts on my car when I had the 309 front end stufffitted without any problems. Graham.
