What's Behind The Hazard/heated Window Switches?

Recommended Posts

Garry

I am trying to fit an manual overide switch for the rad fan.

I thought a good place to put it would be next to the push in switches below the heater controls.

I have taken the surround for the switches off and there are two spare holes to the left of the hazard light button. There is a plastic

backing to the back of the cavity, does anyone know what is behind this? I need a route to run the cables to the switch from the bulkhead. Just thought I would check before I start drilling tomorrow!

I am sorry there are no pictures but my camera is broken.

What age is the car? if using the BE3 gearbox, you should have a blanking grommet where the lifter cable goes on earlier cars - small hole in there and your through safely to the cabin
