Black Primer

This stuff, from previous experience it's usually really badly applied and normally lifts off if you wipe it with thinners, however on this panel ( a non genuine, Hadrian one if it makes any difference) it seems to have been properly applied, thinners don't touch it and even my ham fisted use of wet and dry paper just flats it back without removing too much of it:

So does anyone have any opinions on whether it's ok to just flat it back and spray normal primer over it or whether I need to remove the black primer completely before trying to spray it?

if its a good finish then i would say leave it... not like its an exposed panel, so should be sufficient? ;)

That was my thoughts, it doesn't seem like there would be a problem applying primer straight on to it, i just wanted to check I wasn't making a stupid mistake :)

Hadrians panels are supposed to be good quality, so just a rub down to key it up then primer should suffice :D
