Powder Coated Wheels

Recommended Posts

jimistdt

I am going to get my wheels blasted and powder coated but I dont know what colour would go best with the Oberon Green. Initially I thought black but now I think a dark/gunmetal grey.

The only reason I ask is I am colour blind and most of the colours I suggested were met with a look of disdain from the wife.

Suggestions are more than welcome, good or bad, so fire away.

Thanks to all Jimi.

Lol, if i knew the colour i would have said, but sadly i dont. I posted the picture to show the lighter grey on a Sorrento 205 rather than the darker or Goodwood grey.

I prefer this one.

Take the picture to your sprayer and ask him to match it

isn't that Feb's old car? Gerlewislewis's now, so unless its on different wheels now that is Goodwood/griffe colour which the code is FZN

Its just the light that makes it look a lot lighter.

actually, it is the one I'm thinking of, SBC sticker by the side repeater, FEB did have the car with him in the south of France IIRC.

Thanks WP, is that a standard powder coat colour code? If I tell that to my mate will he know what it is?

Its a Peugeot code, so should be fairly easy to find, I haven't tried to get any paint to match myself though, but there are several colours that have been said to match very well.

Calling all Powder Coaters

I have seen my mate this morning, unfortunately Peugeot Codes mean nothing to him. I have got a Omega Swatch Card and I was wondering if code 'RAL 7005' was anywhere close. :(
