Mi16 Motronic - Random Rev Limiter

Hi,

 

I noticed this morning that it wouldnt rev up to its normal 8k.. stopped somewhere between 7 and 8.

 

Also on the way home, the temp guage wasnt reading anything...

 

Would these two symptoms be connected in any way?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Your electric's are way out, A std 16v will only goto around 7k +/- 2% unless you;ve had it chipped etc, worth checking the Earth's and connection plug's first
