Foltan 0 Posted July 30, 2008 I just failed my MOT (again) because the NS rear caliper (which is new to the car so its functional condition was unknown) is binding and the handbrake is not engaging properly. The cable is new and fitted correctly, and it pulls the little lever on the caliper fine. Obviously there is something wrong with the internal mechanism as it is simply stuck in an intermediate position, slightly on/slightly off, and wont move from this regardless. Im going to go and have a fiddle with this now to see what happens but i wondered if anyone had had any experience with this as to what to do. I'd rather not have to change the caliper cheers for any advice
