munster 0 Posted July 28, 2008 Can anyone suggest a place to get a rear trailing arm? I have found 'Rear Arm' on GSF website p/n T42604 but not sure if this is the right one, or for a GTI. A second hand one would be good if anyone has one? (passanger side) Thanks
boombang 2 Posted July 28, 2008 I've got some here spare if you can collect. Have drums on them at the moment off a 1.6.
munster 0 Posted July 28, 2008 Ah thanks mate, but i have a 309gti beam on atm. Obviously i cant fit the caliper/disc on a 1.6 arm... can i ?
boombang 2 Posted July 28, 2008 Only difference AFAIK is the stub axle length, shorter on the drum models - but happy to be corrected.
James Stewart 1 Posted July 28, 2008 Only difference AFAIK is the stub axle length, shorter on the drum models - but happy to be corrected. That is correct. You can swap the stub axle for the 1.9 type. James.
welshpug 1,657 Posted July 28, 2008 would also be preferable to fit the arms as a pair as the camber/toe settings vary.
boombang 2 Posted July 29, 2008 I got the pair of the ones off that 1.6 beam here like I said - if you don't want them it's no bother, they'll be skipped some point, but if it helps they are yours for nothing.

Anthony 1,003 Posted October 1, 2008 Does any one know if you can you get new ZX arms from citreon still ? I'm sure you can, but how much they'd be is another matter entirely - certainly won't be cheap, put it that way!
