Craigb 2 Posted July 27, 2008 After running as the course opener on a road rally last week , my Navi sent me down a road that i wouldn't take a tank down , never mind a 205. The up shot was we came to a very abrupt stop in a large hole . On checking the car yesterday , i have found :- a Drop link that is now 'S' shaped and an inch shorter O/A A crack where the chassis rail meets the shell An indentation an inch deep where the anti roll bar met the chassis leg. I think the rose joint is Knackered , but not yet fully investigated. My maniflow manifold has a crack 2/3 round one of the branches The steering is stiff , hence post re the rack , is there a method to follow to check the status of the rack Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mikeyd 13 Posted July 27, 2008 if it hit it hard enough to bend the rack upwards youve probably bent the subframe too! take the bolts out of the rack and see if steering is easier then try re fitting the bolts also check if both brackets are in line still (ive twisted one in my rally car!)
