boldy205 75 Posted July 27, 2008 Hi, i am off to pick up my GTI6 engine today. I am wondering how you tell its deffinatly a GTi6 rather than the lower powered one fitted to the 406s etc that look every similar? Is a GTi6 a XU10J4RS and the lesser powered engine a XU10J4R? If so, how do i tell this? Is it combined in the engine No? Also where is the engine No? Many Thanks for a speedy reply, as in off to get it in a hour!! easypug 0 Posted July 27, 2008 A GTi6 will have RS on the flywheel side of the head. It's quite easy to spot so you won't have any trouble finding it.
