James_R 3 Posted July 22, 2008 Ferrodo Premiers from halfrauds are ok depending how hard you go round, but lasted fine on a friends std 1.9 Gti for a weekend's lapping about about £17-18 from memory Otherwise DS2500's, but these are about £40-50 (not had a set in a while) but have a much better fade resiatance to the above. Rich_p 23 Posted July 24, 2008 I've run the road and sports pads on the front my civic for ages now, they have done a couple of activity days and are still going strong, need a quick stamp to get some heat into them and they are fine. It has very good brakes (282mm front, 266mm rear) as standard anyway but I did notice an improvement when I fitted them. I have not done full trackdays though, only short sprint courses so I'm not sure how fade resistant they will be. I have a feeling the 309 has them alround and that stops fairly well, and thats still on 247mm discs.
