MrG 3 Posted July 21, 2008 following on from the thread below about linkages catching on the bonnet. Who has what type of linkage? Do you have the bottom mounted linkage or top mounted one? Is the bottom one easy to install/adjust? And is it Weber or Dellorto? Just trying to see what is the better to use and what (if any) problems owners have with their chosen route. Pics are good to if possible. Cheers Andrew
base-1 17 Posted July 21, 2008 Weber, bottom mount, bit tricky to get at but in the scheme of things not that bad at all http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t93/bas...PN/DSCN0769.jpg
MrG 3 Posted July 22, 2008 Thanks, looks lush there mate, is that a 5th injector or NOS?
Daz_C 8 1 Cars Posted July 22, 2008 Its NOS me thinks. I have the same linkage set up as Base. Its abit awkward to fit the linkage with the Radiator in. Well a standard one anyway. One of my shorter radiators makes the job much easier and helps in reducing engine bay temps too !
mmt 15 Posted July 22, 2008 (edited) I run non original weber linkage from Demon & Tweeks. It is side/top mounted. Never let me down. ½ the cost of original top/bottom weberlinkage. I would buy i again and again:-)! This is a pair just like mine: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TWIN-THROTTLE-CABLE-...bayphotohosting /Martin Edited July 22, 2008 by mmt
Sam 4 Posted July 25, 2008 The proper weber one is the one to go for, it's made with quality and precision in mind.
