DjB 0 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) Can someone please point me in the direction of a thread or post that goes through this. I've search high and low and I'm struggling. I can't make sense of the Haynes manual. The shifting patten of my gear box is - R 1 3 5 -- 2 4 Is this a BE1 box..? Any help would be greatly appreciated. gti-si 0 Posted July 15, 2008 (edited) It is a BE1 box yes. Filling the gearbox can be done through the breather on the top, if it's there on BE1 or not I'm sure. It's a plastic nut with a whole through it. Undo this, fill it with circa two liters then undo the bolt on the side of the box which is accessed from the nearside wheel arch (and covered in the Haynes manual), let any surplus oil drain out and bob's your uncle Edited July 15, 2008 by gti-si Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
