Recommended Posts

MrG

Is it OMP or the other make (that escapes me!) that needs part of the dash cutting away?

safety devices to both. teh challenge cage needs the dash cutting, but its well worth it in my opinion. I found the other type of cage obstructs legrom when getting in and out. I condsider it a compromise, and for me there is no compromising with safety

I fitted a 10 point OMP cage to my 205 a couple of years ago and I'm positive I did not have to alter the dash at all to fit it.

Its the C13 cage from Safety Devices I think that needs the dash cutting. They do a C12 that is the same just a little shorter and doesnt need the dash cutting.

(I might be wrong on the codes but they are very similar!!)

I would go for one that fits the shell, regardless of what you have to cut!

agreed, but I'd like to avoid cutting the dash if I can.

Then the cage won't be fitting to the shell IMO.
