Martin W 0 Posted July 11, 2008 I have plastic windows in my 205 with sliders, which are great for weight saving, BUT how have people secured/locked them shut? At the moment they can be opened from the outside but I would to find a way of locking them from the inside. Any ideas welcome. Thanks Martin
James_R 3 Posted July 11, 2008 I've seen them with a hole drilled in to the slider frame and slidey section then a pin is dropped in to lock it shut. hope that makes sense.

I did think of this idea, but if anyone has a photo handy of how they have done it that would be ideal. In the mean time I'll scratch my head for ideas about how to make this work. pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted July 11, 2008 Another method I've seen is with the window closed drill a hole & tap it for a bolt to thread through against the back of the opening so the window can't be moved when its screwed in. Graham.
