CaptainP 2 Posted July 10, 2008 I'm supposed to be changing my dad's top engine mount on Saturday on his 205 D Turbo. Quick inspection looks the same as a GTI one but does anyone know if this is correct? I have a spare "like new" GTI one here ready to go. jimistdt 1 Posted July 10, 2008 Disregard that first bit of information, Captain. I have had a look on Service Box and the right mount (from the drivers seat) bears no resemblence whatsoever although the fixing spindle on the left is the same. The part for the right mounts are 1839.31, 1846.72 for the bracket and 1846.42 for the rubber mount. The part number for the rubber is same on both Petrol and Diesel.
