the reason i ask is because when i had my driveshaft replaced they changed the seal that goes between gearbox and driveshaft, so as the driveshaft will be coming out i assume i need to change the seal to?

yes thats the make of the gearbox oil that gsf by me now stock

as for the seals, you should replace them, though if your carful when removing the drive shafts you might get away with out them, but if you do damage one its a right pain to repplace it as it all has to come apart again.

Yeah, for the sake of a couple of quid and a few minutes its well worth doing.

Seals are such:

N31170 DIFF SEAL LH £3.70

N31172 DIFF SEAL £4.95

Worth bearing in mind thats plus vat, but dont forget to tell them you're a Peugeot Sport member for 10% off..

Get some of the Fuchs 'box oil too, made a big difference to mine, but then i'd put some cheap crap in mine boforehand that was the wrong viscosity..

As said, you don't *have* to replace them, but it's one of those jobs that you might as well do whilst you've got everything apart.

I'd get some OE ones, I;ve had and seen some of the factor one's seap before, When you compare the 2 there's a big differance and for double the money far worth the extra for the time and hassle involved if they do leak
