That Sealant...

hey i cannot remember the name of the sealant i need to seal my sump back onto my engine block!

 

Its high grade, and in a tube which needs a 'gun' to push it out... kinda liek this http://www.geocel.co.uk/dynimages/43.png

I thought you can use any high temp oil resistant silicon sealant :-)

Or a gasket..

yes Wurth if you can get it, Loctite or Elring are good too.

 

technique and preparation is the most important thing to remember though, cleanliness and patience, and not over-tightening the bolts.
