Guest Jules Posted July 7, 2008 (edited) Can you guys please help Looking for a suspension setup for my 205. Track use mainly, not used on the road. Been looking at bilstein and gaz shocks. The bilstein shock were from Demon tweeks, group N dampers, with 275lbs springs (-25) for about £550 . The gaz shocks kit is about £390 Model GHA306, but they have adjustable ride height. What do you think? Gaz shocks seem good, but Bilstein are well used.......... Edited July 7, 2008 by Jules
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted July 7, 2008 This must be one of the longest question's in History, The easy answer is find someone with both and try them, The Gaz one's (1 way) are only rebound which in my thinking is very poor but are cheap to make and hence the cost, The 2 way one's are more comparable to the Bilsteins but then the cost jump's up into almost to the AST's which are a league apart again. I have just fitted a car with the 1 way Gaz's and to be honest I thought it was a complete waste of money and even with them set on the hardest setting they are still way off the mark. Have a search and you'll find many people's finding's on this subject
