Lower Engine Mount Torque Settings

Hi guys,

 

Thought I best torque up this, can't seem to find it in the haynes though. Anyone know what torque this is meant to be set to?

I would also be interested to know this, as i have only tighened mine as much as possible by hand

It's listed in the Hyanes manual as "Driveshaft intermediate bearing bracket"

Hmmm, I would have thought that would be the two 11mm for the drivers driveshaft?

I just go by feel on things like this. As tight as you can should be fine unless your using a spanner with 2inch leverage...also assuming you ate your weetabix?

They are listed in chapter 1 under engine mountings;

  • RH nut; 27 Nm 20lbft.
  • LH nut; 35NM 26lbft.
  • Battery tray / Bracket; 18Nm 13lbft.
  • Lower mounting centre bolt; 34Nm 25lbft.
  • Lower motnting to subframe; 45Nm 33lbft.
