daza4 24 Posted July 3, 2008 When you fit any type of carbs you remove the standard Rev Limiter. If you want to keep a rev limiter you will need something like the ones Demon Tweeks sell. (sorry cant remember the make!!) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

vickiw106 1 Posted July 4, 2008 When you fit any type of carbs you remove the standard Rev Limiter. i know i need to remove the rev limiter, thats what i am saying i need to know if its the ecu that cuts spark or fuel (or neither) to operate the rev limiter. the way i have my system set up i can remove the ecu all together and run a switchable live to the fuel pump. i already have spark with out the ecu connected. I believe it is controlled by the ECU so when you fit the carbs it removes the rev limiter. Yes you are right I have just stripped back my wiring loom and have also removed the whole wiring from the ecu plug that fed back into the engine. Its still working!!!!
