Mi16 On Carbs

hi

 

ive got a standard mi16 and want to put it on carbs,

what do i exactly need to do this and should i go for bike carbs

or standard carbs.

whats needed-

carbs,inlet manifold,throttle linkage and cable,fuel pump,regulator some modifications to fuel lines and wiring etc

and set up on a RR, i ran my modded 8 valve on twin 45 webbers and thought

they were awesome but new ones are very expensive the bike carb route is becoming

more popular know but i dont know how hard it is to get them to fit

I went for what i class as proper carbs weber 45's and i thikn you will be better off with these also the manifold are easier to get hold of and more parts are off the shelf items and not custom ie the manifold for bike carbs etc.

Unless your aiming to do more modifications carbs on their own on a good mi arnt really worth it.

Ive got twin 45 dellorto's on my mi16.

 

Worth it just for the sound i wreckon! :rolleyes:

 

Supposedly you get a nice power increase too!
