matt gti78 0 Posted June 28, 2008 Hi All, Whats the easiest way of fitting a Air/Fuel ratio gauge for my Pre 89 1.9 GTI engine. I've just fitted some carbs and I've never had a oxygen sensor fitted into the exhaust manifold and so if I get a air/Fuel ratio gauge is it just a simple matter of somehow inserting a sensor into the manifold and wire this upto a gauge. Exile 0 Posted June 28, 2008 It will, and if you need just to check, a normal multimeter may do the job. 0,88V on multimeter can tell you, that AFR 12,5-13,5, but don't expect high precision on low-range O2 sensor. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
